The Georgetown Fund serves as a critical source of funding for the university’s highest priorities. Annual gifts to the fund from alumni, students, parents and friends enable Georgetown to serve undergraduate students and their intellectual formation by investing in scholarships, faculty support and student life.
1789 Scholarship Imperative
Currently, 100 percent of gifts to The Georgetown Fund are being directed to the 1789 Scholarship Imperative, which seeks to raise $500 million for undergraduate scholarships by 2016. By significantly increasing the number of scholarships funded through philanthropy, the imperative will allow Georgetown to offer competitive financial aid packages to more students and fulfill the university’s commitment to bring the best students to campus, regardless of their ability to pay.
Your Gift Matters
Gifts of any size to the Georgetown Fund will be dedicated to the 1789 Scholarship Imperative and support undergraduate students. Gifts will be pooled together to support $25,000 scholarships for individual students.
