Inspired by the university's Jesuit identity and educational mission, Georgetown Athletics seeks to develop the talents, character and leadership qualities of all student-athletes and members of our community. An extraordinary 10 percent of the undergraduate student body participates in intercollegiate play, a percentage that is unmatched among our peers.

Georgetown Athletics Excellence Fund

The Georgetown Athletics Excellence Fund enhances the student-athlete experience by channeling resources to scholarships, short-term facility needs and program expenses across Georgetown’s 29 intercollegiate teams. The fund also helps the university attract the best scholar-athletes and promote its mission of service to others.
