Georgetown Fund

Students studying together

The Georgetown Fund serves as a critical source of funding for the university's highest priorities. Currently, 100 percent of gifts to the Georgetown Fund are being directed to 1789 Scholarships, which provide scholarship support for undergraduate students.

By significantly increasing the number of scholarships funded through philanthropy, the 1789 Scholarship Imperative allows Georgetown to offer competitive financial aid packages to more students and fulfills the university's commitment to bring the best students to campus, regardless of their ability to pay. Every year, some 40 percent of students require a need-based scholarship from Georgetown in order to accept our offer of admission.

Your Gift Matters

Gifts of any size to the Georgetown Fund will be dedicated to the 1789 Scholarship Imperative and support undergraduate students.

The Annual Giving Community

The Georgetown University Loyalty Society recognizes alumni who demonstrate their commitment to Georgetown's mission through consecutive giving.
