When Bruce was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, his family turned to our Memory Disorders Program (MDP) for help and hope. As part of the Department of Neurology at Georgetown, our MDP clinic specializes in the care of Mild Cognitive Impairment and Alzheimer’s disease. In addition to providing clinical services and improving diagnostic and prognostic accuracy, we offer opportunities for patients like Bruce to participate in research studies, including prevention trials and investigations of novel treatments.
Such specialized care and research are made possible by caring partners like you, and Bruce’s family is deeply grateful. “We have completed participation in one clinical trial and are in the process of starting another shortly,” says the Seger family. “We can’t say enough good things about the work they are doing!”
Your GivingTuesday gift will reach more families like Bruce’s with help and hope this holiday season!
