Make a Gift to Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center
Help save lives in the
Washington, D.C. metro area
and around the
world!
As an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center and nonprofit organization, Georgetown Lombardi relies on the generosity of our neighbors. And this holiday, we’re counting on you.
Please support the 2020 Holiday Fund Drive with a special gift today. One hundred percent of your contribution will go directly to research that will lead to cures and more lives saved. And that means the world to people fighting cancer this holiday season.
Our immediate goal is to secure 176 donations by November 30.
Your support makes a real impact.
Gifts to Georgetown Lombardi directly support research, like the innovative work of Marcus Noel, M.D.
Dr. Noel is focused on novel drug development for patients with pancreatic cancer. He currently has two clinical trials in the pipeline. Both of these studies involve the addition to chemotherapy of eryaspase, an agent added to red blood cells that starves pancreatic tumors and stops them from growing.
One study will treat patients with pancreatic cancer on the front line with eryaspase + FOLFIRINOX. For patients who have not responded to these therapies, they will benefit from further studies in treating pancreatic cancers with eryaspase.

“I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2019. I thought I was only going to live a year. More than a year later, I’m still here, working hard as ever. I would recommend Georgetown Lombardi to anyone diagnosed with or looking for treatment for cancer.”

“Private donations are critical to allowing continued research at Georgetown.”
