School of Nursing and Health Studies

Georgetown University School of Nursing & Health Studies translates the university’s Catholic, Jesuit values into action in a field that impacts each of us: health and health care. Founded in 1903, the school conducts innovative teaching, research, scholarship and service.

The school’s four academic departments span interrelated disciplines of the health fieldā€”health systems administration, human science, international health and nursing. Additionally, NHS includes the Center for Health Equity – Research, Implementation and Teaching.

Philanthropic support to NHS ensures that students and faculty continue to experience a world-class learning environment. Areas of greatest need include student scholarships, support for faculty innovation, experiential learning opportunities and facilities enhancement.
