School of Nursing and Health Studies

Georgetown University School of Nursing & Health Studies translates the university’s Catholic, Jesuit values into action in a field that impacts each of us: health and health care. Founded in 1903, the school conducts innovative teaching, research, scholarship and service.

The school’s four academic departments span interrelated disciplines of the health field—health systems administration, human science, international health and nursing. Additionally, NHS includes the Center for Health Equity – Research, Implementation and Teaching.

Philanthropic support to NHS ensures that students and faculty continue to experience a world-class learning environment. Areas of greatest need include student scholarships, support for faculty innovation, experiential learning opportunities and facilities enhancement.
