The McDonough School of Business

Every business school teaches students about markets, efficiency, and profitability. At Georgetown McDonough, we take it a step further: we teach our students to use the tools of business, management, and leadership to enhance their careers and to serve the common good. There is no school better suited to this work than Georgetown McDonough, part of the nation’s oldest Catholic and Jesuit university seated in its most influential city.

Building on the strong foundation and momentum of the past decade, we are poised to realize our ambition of becoming both the best in the world and the best for the world—expanding our global partnerships and presence, deepening our values-based approach to business education, and pursuing bold ideas and initiatives that will help shape a better future for business and society.

Philanthropy will ensure that Georgetown McDonough can compete successfully for the best student talent; invest in the exceptional faculty and centers crucial to providing distinctive educational experiences; collaborate across disciplines to address society’s greatest challenges; and make a direct social and economic impact in and beyond our D.C. community.
