For over 50 years, our commitment to our community has fueled the success of Georgetown University’s Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center—the only National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center in Washington, DC, and one of just 57 nationwide.

Grounded in our values as a Jesuit institution, our researchers and clinicians offer a unique combination of expertise and empathy. We bring discoveries from the bench to the bedside in partnership with MedStar Health, translating innovative research into patient care—and ensuring we meet individuals where they are in the spirit of cura personalis, or care of the whole person.
