Brain Health

Our internationally recognized team at Georgetown University Medical Center promotes brain health and well-being at every stage of life. This commitment extends from the treatment of neurological conditions—such as stroke, traumatic brain injuries, and memory and movement disorders—to mental health initiatives and family support.

Through educational experiences grounded in Jesuit values, we prepare researchers and clinicians to lead the way in accelerating patients’ recovery and return to function. These scholars pioneer groundbreaking studies and clinical trials alongside a robust network of clinical and community partners, with transformative results for the medical field and patients’ lives.

We have an opportunity not only to sustain our leadership in these fields but to become the very best. Through GUMC’s Brain Health Pillar of Excellence, we are advancing strategic goals in partnership with our philanthropic community.
