Sr. Director of Athletics Development, Scarlett Schneider, Ph.D.
Scarlett Schneider, Ph.D. came to the Hilltop in May of 2019 as the new Senior Director of Development, Athletics after leading the fundraising arm of the West Virginia University Cancer Institute.
Dr. Schneider is no stranger to athletics development having significantly advanced athletics fundraising goals at numerous universities in her career. She has served as the executive director of athletics development at the University of Pennsylvania, the senior executive director of development and associate athletic director for George Washington University, the director of athletic development at the University of Delaware and held similar positions at The Ohio State University as well as Virginia Tech.
Highlights from Dr. Schneider’s various tenures include creating the Buff and Blue Fund at GW, surpassing fundraising goals in multiple fiscal years at Penn and managing record growth in dollars raised at Delaware. In addition, she is incredibly active in the National Association of Athletic Development Directors (NAADD) serving in a number of positions including president (2016-17).
Dr. Schneider has been in university fundraising for more than 25 years. In her most recent stint at WVU, she surpassed goals and also partnered with the athletics department on signature events.
The Virginia Tech graduate holds three degrees from the institution. She earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing education and a master’s in sports management. She later received her doctorate in education administration and higher education.

Director of Athletics Development, Danielle Grobmyer Thomas
A native of Charlottesville, Virginia, Danielle was a four-year letter winner at St. Bonaventure University. She earned her masters at the University of Massachusetts where she discovered her love for Athletics. Danielle has spent the last 13 years in higher education administration including her most recent appointment just down the road at George Washington University where she led athletics annual fund fundraising efforts for all 27 sports.
She and her husband, Brian who currently serves as the Head Coach of GW Swimming and Diving have two sons, Boomer and Chip.

Director of Athletics Engagement, Caroline Webb
Caroline came to the Hilltop in June of 2022 as the Associate Director of Athletics Engagement and Events. In October of 2022, Caroline was promoted to the Director of Athletics Engagement and is responsible for managing the engagement events for all 30 athletic programs at Georgetown.Prior to her time at Georgetown, Caroline worked for The Washington Chorus as Director of Development and Seattle Opera as Stewardship & Events Manager, where she was responsible for all donor and subscriber events, including one major fundraising event, over 100 engagement events, and the management of the under-40 subscriber program. She formerly worked in private wealth management and is a CFP®.Originally from Dallas, TX, Caroline graduated from Northwestern University (Evanston, IL) in 2011 with a double major in Art History and English Literature. In May of 2017 she earned her Master of Business Administration and Master of Arts in Arts Management from Southern Methodist University (Dallas, TX). Associate Director of Development, Parker Subia
Parker arrived at Georgetown in June of 2022 as the Associate Director of Development for Athletics.
Originally from Whittier, California, Parker graduated from Kenyon College in the Spring of 2018 as a four year letter winner in football, with a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. He has spent his entire career in higher education working in athletics and advancement as both a coach and as the Assistant Director of Student and Young Alumni Philanthropy at Kenyon. Parker currently resides in Virginia and looks forward to supporting Hoya Athletics for many years to come.

Development Associate Athletics, Gabriel Cunha
Originally from Coconut Creek, FL, Gabriel originally graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2021 with a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology and a minor in Sports Business Management then graduated from Georgetown University in 2023 with a Master’s in Sports Industry Management. He brings relationship-building, analytical, and customer service experience from his previous full-time role. Gabriel enjoys exercising and doing outdoor activities in his free time. He recently ran a half marathon and wants to run a full marathon within the next year.
