Men’s Basketball
Fundraising Priorities
For more information on sport specific funding initiatives such as scholarship support, nutrition and other special projects, please contact Scarlett Schneider, PhD, Senior Director of Development for Athletics, at scarlett.schneider@georgetown.edu.
Annual Fund
Contributions to the men’s basketball annual fund help to support the team’s annual operating expenses (not to include salaries and scholarship support). Increased annual funding will provide more opportunities for added enhancements such as training trips, expanded recruiting, and related equipment.
If you have any questions or would like to learn more about how to support the annual fund, please contact Matthew Gilson, Director of Athletics Annual Giving, at mg2105@georgetown.edu.

The Locker Sponsorship Program for Georgetown Men’s Basketball
Overview
The Locker Sponsorship Program is designed to bolster annual funding beyond the Men’s Basketball Program budget and to provide opportunities for the team that might not otherwise be possible. Locker allocations will be restricted to a maximum of 15 participants for men’s locker room and will be assigned in the order of their requests.
To join this initiative, supporters are asked to make a $10,000 annual commitment to Georgetown Basketball. These gift commitments are above and beyond any priority seating annual donations and NIL gifts. These gifts are 100% tax-deductible.
The central location of your plaque in the physical heart of each program, is symbolic of how important your support is to the operational success of Georgetown Basketball. These gifts help provide the necessary resources for our student-athletes to learn, train, compete and grow as leaders in their communities. It is an important initiative to Men’s Basketball Head Coach, Ed Cooley.
How are these funds used?
Commitments to this initiative will be used to help fund new Men’s Basketball athletic facility improvements and support operational expenses to keep up with the ever changing landscape of college athletics. The Locker Sponsorship Program Includes:
- Annual events with coaches and student-athletes including end of season team celebration
- Your name will be represented on the locker
- You will receive a replica nameplate
