Annual Fund

In order to travel to our national championships and maintain a full regular season schedule we need a travel budget of $100k a year. While the department’s goal is to fully endow the program there are still annual equipment needs as those endowments are being established.

Overview

The Friends of Georgetown Sailing leadership works closely with Athletics Engagement, The Annual Fund for Georgetown Athletics, Georgetown Sailing Head Coach and Georgetown Athletic Department staff to advance Georgetown University and Georgetown University Athletics’ mission and strategic priorities for Sailing.

Friends of Georgetown Sailing is is completely volunteer driven and led by Bobby Winters (C’90, P’22, P’23).
